Suppressor - 334 Days of Wait on EFile-4

Still no approval on my Efile-4 Trust. The first time I submitted in January 2022 there was a glitch on the submittal because the system timed out and the dealer did not catch it. I had to call to figure it out, so I started over with the check cashed on 8-11-22. All median wait times are in the 270 to 280 range. Has anyone else had to wait this long on an e-file (~330 days)?

My last one was 14 months.

My first EForm 4 filed 4/4/22, approved 12/15/22.
Got one pending now from 3/3/23, hopefully I’ll have it before hunting season.
Checkout the Reddit mega thread. Approvals all over the place as far as days pending.

I submitted 11/30/22 and am still waiting. I'd love to know how the hell they prioritize approvals, because like the previous poster mentioned, they are all over the place.

My last can purchase was certified 8/28/22. It was efiled and I'm still waiting

My last one was 04/08 last year and approved on 12/26. I really need to get another one started. I was checking the reddit thread almost daily back then. The time kept getting slower and slower. When the e-file started, they were saying 70 days I believe...

You need to call ATF, and leave a message. Approval should soon follow

Still waiting since Nov 2022 for my first one. It's crazy how I can go and buy Two AR's today and get em within 30 minutes but have to wait this long for a piece that makes them a little quieter.

14 months and still waiting on one - Efile.

I've been waiting since 10/21/2020.

start buying one a month so when they hit you will get a present every month. I did that back in 2014-2015. It was expensive but fun times.

I called the ATF and got a rubber stamp response that there is a backlog. My process started on 8-11-22, which is significantly past the median approval duration listed at silencer shop. I'm guessing those of us that exceed 10 months wait time are delayed and the review was punted over to the FBI, which is another layer of bureaucracy to clear. The guys on Reddit indicate that they contacted their congressman to expedite the review. Not sure if that works.

Pretty sure that extends the background check on a person…. Lol.

i'm willing to bet that these wait times are going to be part of a future argument one day.
what exactly are they looking at beyond what a 4473 would tell them?

The craziest story I have heard from my local gun shop owner was a guy getting 8 at once and it got approved the next day or two an hour or so after the email certification got filed. He said it was the damnest thing he ever saw.
But just goes to show you they can get it done fast if they wanted to. I think the more you get at once the faster but that isn't set it stone. But this 8-15 month wait time is absurd.
