Once the top-selling beer in the U.S., Bud Light is no longer on the list of the country's 10 most popular beers after it partnered with transgender activist and influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

Bud Light sales are reportedly down almost 30% from last June and the brand "is showing no signs of rebounding from its slump," according to a MoneyWatch report.

"Man Bud Light is going for the death blow at this point," one commenter wrote. "This is what they think of their client base, stupid grunting cavemen."

"Hey look! ‘Fratty’ and ‘out of touch’ is back in style at Bud Light," another wrote.

It’s probably a lot worse than that. I’m guessing that they sell a lot of beer to events, at which customers really don’t have a choice.

I bet that if you measured the drop in sales, in which customers actually select a beer, it’s easily 50%. And that’s probably close to the bottom when you consider that half the population are Democrats.

Those 70% are probably mostly people buying the beer to get it free with the rebates. This is good & bad, BL slows its losses down & gets to take the rebates directly off any profit margin they may show. As an investor I’d be pissed at their stupid marketing campaign and their refusal to acknowledge their failures
