@reaulx

Brandon miller is the real deal (for now) he is ready to get double doubles in the nba this year all season. His peak? Maybe sooner than longevity; time will tell

Wemby is a project; his footwork is garbage is what stands out to me the most. Euros are always surprised with the speed of our game and this is a summer league scrimmage; he was out of place all the time on defense. He’s several years away

Kids call that game a mid off. Victor 2-13 from the field and numerous ugly plays/misses. Miller with an improved 15/11 but he was 5-15. He did make Victor look like a soft Frenchy in the post a few times though.

For sure. I was listening to a podcast episode of Paul George and Draymond Green. From their words, Wemby will struggle a bit with his offensive game. It's simply not NBA ready just yet. But his defense however will be what keeps him on the floor. He should be a solid rim protector, sure to affect a lot of shots.

I will never put any stock in a pickup summer league game

Wemba gonna need to put on some serious weight and get in the weight room from what I saw or he’s gonna get pushed around

The structure of a college season would have been beneficial for him

He’s gonna have to shoot over dudes and go off the dribble to get buckets until his base develops to move guys out of the way.

Center of gravity doesn’t care how skilled you are. Almost by definition, he’s going to have to play high. Every time he turned his back to his defender last night he was overpowered.

But you can’t teach grabbing rebounds, ball handling skills, and starting the break with that vision at his size.

He’ll be transcendent like LBJ, but no one had LBJ’s body and skill set coming in. He’s a totally different presentation.
