I really don't know. Anyone have info on this? How is LSU doing raising money compared to other top schools?

We have been doing fine collectively speaking but we are also not spending the amount of $ others are just to get recruits.

aTm has 33 billion in endowments and now thru collectives can funnel that to whoever they want,
why do you think they had the highest recruiting class in the history of football
lsu has 500 million in endowments, bama 600 mil
i believe Texas has more endowment money than aTm
we can't win this game which is why Saban and Kelly say something has to be done and soon to regulate this cause we can't keep up

I know it's early in this NIL stuff, but do we have any examples of other schools landing season-altering commitments solely because of the amount of cash offered?
Being coached by a top quality staff, competing for championships, and national exposure are worth a lot to NFL-caliber guys - for those guys, there's more than just cash to consider.

It should never come down to the average fan having to pay money to buy recruits.

No, they just have top 5 classes every year

The recruits can see all of our coaching expertise on this board, so they know we can coach them up to get gud.

This idea of fans putting pressure on other fans to pay money to outbid other fan bases to lure students to play sports for their college is drenched in moral hazard.

By free scholarship?

The fanbase? How about asking all of our multi billion dollar oil companies first.

What chips you throwing in?

we're never gonna have the resources that the Texas schools have or places likes USC, that's why those schools just happen to be on resurgences just as all the pay for play stuff came out, thats no coincidence

Our high insurance premiums are paying big dividends.
