Just miles away from some of the wealthiest zip codes in the country, a growing RV encampment in Marin County symbolizes the national housing crisis.

There are some along El Camino around Stanford that have been there at least 5 years.

They should build housing projects in downtown Burlingame and in Atherton. It's the right thing to do, after all.

Had a delivery in Portland a few months back- this is what Marine Dr between the Columbia River and the airport looked like. Tarp tents, shopping carts, RV's, etc.

We have one on a road just outside of town, here in Bend. It seems pretty common out here...and it's almost always these old, run down rvs and campers from the 70s and 80s.

This is why the “broken window” theory of policing and policy is the right track.

It’s not about being heartless or trying to be overly strict with fines/law enforcement. It’s just that once you let small things go they just continue to spiral into a situation that is now the “new normal”, is far more costly and almost impossible to solve.

It all starts by letting a few homeless people slide, then more join, then you allow their tents, then you allow their tent cities under overpasses…and here you are.

Take care of it from the top by enforcing the little things, yet instead we are decriminalizing the little things (unless you’re stealing a rainbow flag, of course)

Clown world policies lead to third world results. And all us sucker taxpayers pay for it

Here's a thought - move out of the most expensive area in the most expensive state in the country and find a place in the much more affordable fly-over/deplorable area of the country.

They've been mysteriously catching on fire in some places.

Yeah, no.

I just randomly picked Omaha, Nebraska, and while none of us would want these commies moving to a red state, there are 153 houses in Omaha below $200,000. In Little Rock there are 275.

Ugh, this only happening in a few states. Seems like it symbolizes the failed democrat agenda to me.
