He didn’t share what his meals were. Probably didn’t realize you were dying to know.

xplains why. by ell_13The link is him giving an interview after one of his games. He’s still playing. He was asked about the championship.
I thought he was still playing, Thxs for clearing that up.

And taking out entire games is always the right way to make an argument.
Yeah bc 6 for 30 at the CWS is good..

At that park, with those bats and balls, hitting 0.200 is good. Did you forget when and where they were playing?

Why would he go with her, is that his mom or something?

Whatever man, you’re not gonna convince me he had a “good” performance at the CWS in 2017.
This year, our best players showed up & we won. 6 guys hit .290 or better in Omaha. That’s good.

quote:Before the finals, we were barely hitting over 0.200 as a team. One of the best hitting teams in LSU history. It took the wind blowing out and a hits record for those averages to spike. We went from 0.200 before the finals to hitting 0.333 in the final 3 games. This year is NOT comparable to 2017.

How do LSU fans NOT know it’s his mom? I know different last names but this has been very well announced if you watched Robertson play at all at LSU

I realize his mom is rich, but it’s probably time to hang it up. 150k signing bonus and 6 years in the minors, 2 games in MLB and 28 years old. He should start considering getting into coaching

First day on the internet?

Not enough time to dye his hair

I get it. It’s how connected former players are. When you grow up and give everything to your “dream” school, I’m sure 2017 haunts him. Like John Ed Bradley. There’s a bond there. Reliving the plays your should have made, the plays that weren’t quite enough. The agony of failing the last chance you have.

Jay Johnson and Paul Mainieri still talk to this day about how their CWS Championship Series losses still haunt them.
2017 was specifically difficult because of all the upperclassman that came back for their last season together to try to win it all. To come up just short of that will stay with you for a long long time.
Instead of mocking the guy, maybe try to feel good for him that this championship gives him a little peace and puts the disappointment from 2017 to bed, even if just a little bit.

AAA players make decent money. It’s not like he’s grinding out in single A. Austin Nola was 29 before he made his MLB debut.

He might just enjoy playing baseball.

Agreed. Not really seeing where the criticism is coming from after watching the video. Clearly a guy who then and now cares a lot about lsu baseball. Had he gone and been all over the camera these same people would have been all over him for stealing the spotlight.
