This team probably only loses single digit games…. 64-7….65-6 type season. What a time to be a Tiger fan!

Whatever man. I’ll take the natty exactly the way we won it. I don’t think you could script a more exciting and fulfilling week of LSU baseball. Maybe swap Wake out for a MS State team that was the only other #1 all year but everything was pretty much perfect

Whatever man. I’m not taking anything away from this team and I’m happy it happened the way it did. I’m only expounding on what Coach Johnson said in the postgame interview when he said we have 4 Major League pitchers on our team that are hurt. Gives a whole new perspective to his recruiting and why we were a consensus #1 preseason from Fall to the 1st pitch.

This. The adversity the team faced shaped how everything worked out in the tournament. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Also, I’m really looking forward to seeing all of those guys when they get back sometime next season.

Why does it matter. We won and had amazing chemistry.

Sometimes you go through trials to learn something about yourself. No guarantee this team learns those lessons if we stay stacked.

Maybe we win the natty in 5 games, not 8. As a result, my hair still has a little brown left and my liver wouldn’t be hurting.

Would've only lost to Iowa in non-conference. Would've won the SEC. Team ERA would be lower. Would've been bell to bell #1. Would've been great, but I'm fine with the way it went.

Make sure everyone thanks Marucci for the NIL commitment to the program. Go buy Marucci gear!

OP isn’t wrong in his thought, but I like how we did it.

This is my fav season, surpassing the 2000 title, which has a very special place for me. And that’s not taking away from the others at all.

60-11 is reasonable.

A lot of the losses during the regular season were due to poor pitching performances, so a collective 6 WAR between those players you mentioned seems fair.
