Man this guy is electric with lightening wheels attached.

Won the Texas 6A 200-meter state championship as a junior with a 20.54, which proved 0.32 seconds faster than second place. Ran a 20.39 200 to win a district championship in April 2023.

Would be a huge get.

This guy gives us game breaking, scary speed. It will be interesting to see how Denbrock uses him.

5-9" 150 lbs.

Sure he is fast but he definitely needs to bulk up. Not a knock just a observation.

He'll add good weight if he comes here but he'll never be big. 170-180? He would be a very interesting get.

What's the deal with Trindon Holliday as an edge rusher? Did someone actually make that suggestion back then?

Oh yeah it was huge on the rant. Eventually turned in to a “what could have been”. Like Russell Shepherd at QB

If he signs, he would be the fastest fb recruit we've signed since Xavier Carter/Holiday

He won’t be big, but 180 isn’t out of the realm of possibilities. He sort of reminds me of a Tavon Austin with his build and how his HS team uses him.

Tavon was one of the most elite players in college history. Just get Jelani in space

Wasn't there a WR from Bama from LA that was close to this size a couple years back?

I think he turned out to be pretty good. May have won an important trophy...

Devon Achane was 5'9" 170 out of high school, was 185 graduating 8&4, but he was a headache to try and stop. Roster lists Watkins at 158 lbs. going into senior year.

anyway, here is Watkins anchoring the 4 x 100 for Klein Forest winning the State Championship. He looks pretty well put together to me..
forward to @ 1:55 for start... Klein is in lane 4 LINK

4 X 200 Finals here, he really separates from the
field on anchor leg. Lane 5. forward to :30 seconds for start LINK

He doesn’t look small in his highlights and I know he plays in a stud-filled district. He’s built well for his measurements.

I think he goes both ways and plays DL like Trindon Holliday.
