You do realize in polling terms these results are identical?

Polls like this actually undercut the central case of the Desantis campaign, that he is more electable than Trump.

He is not.

yes, the margin of possible polling error is more than the difference.

Actually, very few people truly believe that. Most (including some here) are just happy with the results so they deny cheating happened.

When you think your opponent is LITERALLY worse than Hitler, any means justify the ends.

Everybody knows the indictments have made Trump surge with Republicans. The story is whether or not Trump's chances in the general are shitty relative to DeSantis's.

The problem is that we clearly have a lot of folks in this country that are not in their right mind.

People cannot be this stupid again to vote Biden.

Well, it is the United States so anything now is possible.

You need to get out of your bubble. I know “moderates” and libs that would crawl through broken glass to vote for any candidate running against Trump. They really don’t care at all who the D candidate is.

Trump's numbers were climbing before then. DeSantis was dropping.

From the BS indictments in NY. Clearly, Dems have been good to Trump in 2023.

Do you seriously believe Trump can and will win the general election? 100% serious question.

This poll shows an 8 point difference between Trump and DeSantis in the Swing States. That is how the election will be determined. Trump can't win in AZ and GA especially. He is still insulting Kemp and McCain out of spite and he has to have those voters. Doesn't have to love them he just can't piss on them but Trump can't help himself.

Trump also has no ground game and nothing but words when it comes to creating one and ballot harvesting. DeSantis has a massive operation already running with paid and trained door knockers hitting the pavement NOW.

Trump is going to lose if he is the nominee. The crazy thing is how many Trump folks don't seem to actually care.

AZ, GA, WI,

Trump lost these 3 states by fractions of one percent, not 10 points.

Even if you deny the fraud.

Many in those states voted for Biden the moderate, Biden the competent, Biden the adult, Biden the healer.

Were they delivered moderation, competence or unity?

It's ridiculous to say Trump cannot win a fair election in those states in 2024.

I stated there is no story. My belief in polls does not sway that one way or the other. Trump is going to win the nomination and that's what we are dealing with.

They don't care.

They would rather lose the general than have Ron win the GOP nomination.

Deep down, Trumpists know that he can't win.

He's gotten his arse kicked with independents and in swing states the last 3 election cycles and the only thing that's changed is more indictments.

The people who decide are done with Trump.

A couple months ago, there was a poll that said among voters who strongly dislike Trump and strongly dislike Biden, Biden wins those voters 54-15. And that's that.

Nobody is debating the primary as it stands. We're discussing the sanity of nominating a guy that's destined to lose, as indicated by the polls.
