I just cut the yard and staying hydrated with liquid ivy. I’m glad I went to Disney/Universal last week. Those people have to be miserable this week. Days like this week just makes me pray we don’t have hurricanes. I can’t imagine being without power right now.

I'm heading back from beautiful Tennessee with its heavenly views, low humidity and mild temps

Back to the swampy arse crack of the south. Muggy, stinky, flat and filled with turds.

I will miss the most gorgeous weather and scenery I've enjoyed in a while

I rode back from the Harley place. You'd think that sweating in a cotton t-shirt with an 80 mph air flow would cool you off.

It did not.

On Facebook yesterday, about a quarter of the posts were a meme of someone pointing a pistol at the sun.

We decided that we aren't doing another one ever again. 2 days out and it's still coming right for us and my work can deal with me working from NW Arkansas or someplace like that or fire me

After hearing about the people in the Southdowns area being without power for a month after 2008 hurricane Gustav, I told my wife we are getting a house with no trees and underground power lines.

We just got back from the park and the only people we saw were Mormon "missionaries" heading to the public bathroom together.
