He's no slouch, but we'll get to him. The pressure is on their pitch caller. We can jump on guys and run them out of the game or spit on trash and wear them down quickly or even a combo of both strategies. They have a book on our hitters, but they're really good hitters that a book sometimes means nothing for. Even a well called game can go to hell with our hitters and a pitcher that relaxes when he shouldn't. We have offense 1-9.

Throw Skenes and beat them to a pulp.

Of note, last weekend against USM, Lindsey went 4 innings giving up 6 hits and 4 earned runs against a lineup that isn't in the same universe as LSU’s so he's certainly hittable.

Biggest thing will be running him early with the lead so they won't go to one of their high leverage relievers.

Unless you have some kind of ridiculously deep staff.

Tennessee kinda does have a deep staff. They’re not the best in CWS, but they may have the most depth

Doesn't matter which one, we need the bats to come alive and get some hits.

Lindsey/Dollander are both studs and we haven't even discussed the rest of their stud pitchers.

It's time for Crews, Tanks, Travinski, Morgan, etc. to make some money.

I like the idea of facing Waldrep in the final with an axe to grind over last year's super.

They still have the (probably) second best pitching staff as a whole in the country, second to WF (who has 3 dudes with over 100 Ks).

3 with 100ks in the ACC is a bait different than in the SEC ask Tommy Tanks about the difference in looks

He’s been they’re Friday night guy now for months and in that span he’s ERA is close to 2.0 better than Dollanders.

Not only that, the guy has lots of family in La, Maineiri told him he’d never be a weekend starter at LSU and he’s extremely motivated.

Should be a good matchup

Maybe, but he hired good recruiters. How many of his players have been MLB starters? 15?

So they’re hoping to get past us and have Dollander go against Wake. Bold strategy Cotton.

I think he’d rather burn Lindsey against Skenes. I think he plans to throw Dollander to get out of the losers bracket.
