Pretty sure soccer pitches in Europe differ in dimensions as well in the same league.

It’s awesome. The game would lose something special if every ballpark was exactly the same. The diamond is the same everywhere and that’s all that matters.

I love parks like Fenway. As for playing surfaces not being the same we see it in football. ND used to grow their grass high to hurt speedy teams.
