Watching the DeSantis speech from NC yesterday right now. It's not bad

Ask them why about all other republicans other than Trump and Trump backed candidates won then.
That’s a fair question to ask especially considering that the states that were impacted are the make or break ones.

As someone asked in another thread...Did you eat paint chips as a child?

Desantis has most educated professional people’s attention and rightfully so.
Then he should have NO problem beating Trump in the primary.

Unfortunately that’s not how it works. Trump will likely win the primary. And lose the general by A LOT.
Primaries and Generals are different.

Obviously, you have no idea what a TEAM game is.
We are not talking about team sports. In business world, weak people always start with "team", serously.

As seen in 2022 with Trump backed candidates, to the detriment of the GOP.
For whatever reason, Trump endorsements drive primary voters.
And has been seen for decades, right leaning voters will not just automatically vote for whatever R is on the ballot in the general elections. Unlike typical Dems.

Congress has two teams.
Unlike in business, as president you can't just fire the Senator from Texas because he doesn't agree with you.
You do need to get everyone on the team pulling the same way when discussing politics.
This is why the dems consistently kick the GOP's arse. They vote together even if they don't really agree on something.

They don’t get it. They are determined to fight against their own party because of abstract “establishment” concepts.
Meanwhile the Dems kick the ever living shite out of us with Borg like coordination and efficiency

FIFY
Lincoln changed the way the POTUS is viewed.
Remember that arse suspended habeas corpus and arrested as many of Maryland's legislature as he could after they began to sympathize with the Confederate States and their grievances against the Union over representation and tariffs.

33 trillion in debt. hollowing out of the middle class. Government influence benefiting a select few. Corporate strategy to benefit china at the expense of the country. A concerted effort to undermine the foundation of the country.
But Ron is going to fix it you say. Maybe, but he looks a lot like those who brought us here. Vote for who you want, but don’t cry if others do the same.

WHY ARE THEY SO SCARED TO DEATH OF TRUMP, but NOT scared at all with DeSantis?
Would you rather take on a wounded animal in a corner or one you’ve given treats and raised tame?

I think it’s now safe to say that my post has shown that this website is divided equally judging from the upvote/downvote numbers lol
Posted on 6/11/23 at 1:14 pm to FLTech
We actually had a downvote upvote thread on who people support.
Desantis won by quite a lot with a couple hundred total combined votes

Thanks. Excellent post. Except for one thing:

I donlt know if they (the media) will do that to DeSantis
I KNOW it. The files on Desantis are being organized now. The women who are willing to claim he raped them when they were in H.S. are lining up. It's how the media works.
They already have a 500 Page website of Oppo Research on DeSantis and have been paying anyone they can find to get dirt against him. Most of it is "He's a conservative!" and "Miss Lippy's car is GREEN!" level stuff. They tried HARD when he resisted Biden/Fauci and they just can't find anything.
