Florida wins 4x400m. ASU 2nd place. So I’m guessing it’s Florida/ASU/Stanford/LSU

It was in order:

Florida/Arkansas/Stanford/LSU/ASU/TTU/Georgia/Bama/Washington

Yeah, the dude needs to get a grip on the hyperbole around Shaver being terrible. Only thing I agree with him is how big of a blow it was to lose Boo Shexnyder. Our jumps program has returned to mediocrity under Todd Lane, which is the strength program Boo is best known for. The sprints side has still put up nice numbers, but the women have been injury plagued. without a strong jumps program to go along with sprints, LSU is always going to hover around the 3-8 ranking, which is still pretty fricking good

Shaver has won 1 mens title and 1 Women’s in 20 years. And one stripped. That isn’t good enough.

Of course LSU can give 2 shits about track. Thank You Skip!

So, tied for the most national titles of any LSU sport during his tenure?

we are talking about a sport that has 4 chances each year. So 2 titles out of 80 chances where the previous coach won 27 titles in 15 years or 27 in 60 chances or nearly 45% of the time versus 2.5% of the time with Shaver.

I’m not saying he needs to be at 45%. I am saying he needs to be >15%.
Just pay Boo whatever he wants and use NIL as much as he can to get athletes.

Boo went back to private coaching. Not coming back.

Team titles are weird. Indoor is not favorable to sprint schools like LSU, and honestly those events aren't as big a deal because the world stage cares only about outdoor. It's a glorified pre-season. Qualifications are different. You need to be ready to go before you get to nationals for indoor since it's a performance-based qualifications. In outdoor, you need only to qualify in your region, the rest is purely racing, training, and a little luck with heat placements.

Biggest letdown this year is probably the 400m/400mh crew. Squirrel needed to score. 4x4 needed to qualify. It would've made the meet much more interesting. Those events are on Coach Bennie.

relative to the talent he pulls in he underperforms more often than not.
