Is there a specific herbicide that works well on poison Ivy?

I have some to get rid of and I’m highly allergic, would rather pump and spray from a distance if I can. Ideally if it didn’t affect other plants that would be great but not 100% necessary. Getting rid of the poison Ivy is priority numero uno. Thanks guys

Just be aware that the oils will stay on the plant even after it's dead. Use gloves and tyvek suit. Will be easier to remove if dead also.

My favorite tip for my fellow poison ivy sufferers: if you know you have been exposed, my experience is that bleach/chlorine will prevent the rash. I assume it reacts with and neutralizes the offending antigen

A short swim in a well chlorinated pool, a bath with a quarter cup of chlorox, being sure to thoroughly soak and scrub all your skin including your face, or take the bottle with you into the shower and with a Clorox-soaked washcloth, wipe down all your skin one limb at a time, then soapy rinse

Hands and face seem to be what I most frequently overlook/ undertreat. Make sure you get between your fingers and around your eyes. if it was hot and you were sweaty, you likely wiped your face quite a bit.

And if you peed, . . .

I don't remember where or when I learned this, but it made enjoyment of the outdoors a lot more pleasant

generic roundup. Mix up the entire sprayer so you can spot treat over the coming weeks.

I’d go with trichlopyr

I've used Bonide BK-32 poison ivy & brush killer with good success. And it doesn't harm Bermuda or zoysia.
