Epic and eerie at the same time. I was a Boy Scout usher and all of these people walked in with sacks of oranges. Some gave us a few to toss. You could hardly see the field for the fog.

I was there for that, but the best moment I ever saw was the sequence of TD, Queen interception, then Clyde for the TD to go up 33-13 at Bama at the half. And the eight year nightmare was over!

All of this happened in a minute of game time.

Game: LSU 28, Notre Dame 8. 1971.

Moment: Probably the LSU/Ole Miss game and winning touchdown with no time left from Bert Jones to Brad Davis. 1972?

The 1990 Regional against USC is often forgotten, but not by those that were there. Some of the most intense baseball games ever in Alex Box.

USC 1979 from the student section. Tiger Stadium was roaring from before the kickoff until well afterward. The game was epic, even in the loss, but the most memorable part was everybody staying long after the game ended chanting “LSU LSU…” We all knew we had seen something special.

You sure do seem to know a lot about handjobs.

The tie against Nebraska 1976.
The Southern California game 1979.
The Orange game 1982 vs FSU.
All the national championship games other than 1958.

All great moments, even the loss.

Damn I have a lot

The Burrow Heisman moment against UGA in 2019 might take the cake for me

Flynn to Byrd
Green catch against UGA 03
TM7 Punt Return vs UGA 2011 SECCG
Hester TD UF 07

Bonus, and not because they were “great” but memorable to me

Chad Jones swat against MSU in 2009 to save the game

Charles Scott late TD against UGA in 2009

Cole Tracy Walk off against Auburn in 2018

TM7 strip and score against Oregon in 2011

Jennings to Dural against Arky in 2013

Jasper Fake FG against UF 2010

PP7 Punt Return against WVU 2010

Mauck to Green - UGA 2003
Hester Final drive - UF 2007
Flynn to Byrd - UF 2007
Pre-halftime sequence - Bama 2019
Daniels to Taylor 2PT - Bama 2022

Honorable mentions:
Eric Reid INT - Bama 2011
Russell to Doucet 4th and 10 - Arizona St 2005
Lee to Toliver for the win - UF 2010
Leonard Fournette trucking everyone - Auburn 2015
DeAngelo Peterson end around - Bama 2010
Cole Tracy game winner - Auburn 2018

There’s a ton more I could list but these stuck with me the most

Women’s Basketball National Championship this past year. Took my now grown daughter who I had coached in basketball from 5 y/o til 6th grade and then cheered for from the stands as she played all the way through her senior year of high school.

Also

2019 LSU- Florida. Took my son. It was his first year after graduating high school. He had been to many games before but always with the whole family. This trip was just him and me and his first as a “grown up”. Hooked up with a great tail gate before the game and then watched the GOAT kick the gators arse. Both great LSU memories I will take to my grave.

2003 BCSNCG

Took my FIL, who was a student at LSU for the 58 championship.

He had tears in his eyes as the clock went to 00:00.

2003 UGA LSU Mauck to Green
2019 LSU UT

That Alabama game will always be my favorite. Took a bus to the stadium filled with loud confident gumps and it was just a beautiful cool day. The ride home was very quiet. Was also the first time seeing the president of the United States.

same for me, but at the national championship. one of the coolest parts of the night.

that was the first time i had been to a true "championship" game. it was interesting how... classy (?) it was. $1,300 for nosebleeds will do that.
