Saban is a mediocre in game coach. He is the best recruiter and CEO though.

The guy that was 20-1 in games where a championship was on the line.

Has to be Bertman. He took a Trash Heap and built a program. Then Dominated.
His arse chewing of Umpires, when they erred, was Epic.

Pat Henry, Men and Women Track and Field

He won 27 national titles, 19 SEC titles, 15 SEC Coach of the Year awards and five National Coach of the Year honors at LSU.

He would win both the men's and women's national titles in both 1989 and 1990.

Henry is the only coach in NCAA history to win both men's and women's track and field national titles in the same year and he has accomplished that feat five times with two different programs (LSU in 1989 and 1990 and Texas A&M in 2009, 2010 and 2011).

Lou tepper hands down. He even wrote a book on how to be a complete linebacker. Only takes 6 years to learn the system.

Bertman not even close. He had a way at knowing which player was going to have the game of his life. Many times in regionals, he would pull a pitcher from the end of the bullpen that would throw the best game of their career, when we were facing elimination.

Skip Bertman.
Results. Listen to his players talk about him and his preparation. Championships count.

Skip Bertman without a doubt. He's also probably the greatest single coach--gameday or otherwise--LSU has ever had.
