Had this thought after I submitted. He'll get angry and self-righteous, call around, eventually someone will give him money.

I can't imagine asking my friend for money. When I was in my early 20s I had to ask my mom for a few hundred bucks to get groceries and I was humiliated.

I think Walter White was a bastard and an egomaniac, but I think even Hank would have agreed, you don't accept someone else's money unless you're owed. Otherwise that's charity.
