Big fan of the ACC tournament with pool play. Really puts an emphasis on performing in the regular season too because you get a big advantage if you finish 1-4. Not only can the highest seed in each pool get into the conf. SF with just 2 wins but also with a loss if the lower seeded teams each go 1-1 too. No losers bracket games. A nice condensed tourney with 12 teams. where the max number of games played is 4 including SF and final. Would like SEC to adopt this format.

I really like that. Guaranteed two games, but no more than 4? That's pretty nice.

I've been wishing they'd go to pool play for years now. Pac 12 started it this year too.

I like the idea of giving these three or Cooper the game Wednesday. It leaves everyone else pitching their recent responsibilities with Skenes/Hurd Thursday, Floyd/Guidry Friday, and the rest of the usual suspects available to fill in the gaps or pitch game 4.
It also sets up nicely for any of the same 4 to pitch Friday in the regional. I agree with some that we may go Floyd vs the 4, but I wouldn't mind seeing Money/Cooper start either.

I said Skenes BEFORE Thursday, and Floyd BEFORE Friday. That means Skenes will pitch Thursday and Floyd Friday. I understand reading comprehension could be very difficult for some.

I believe if they were to win Wed and Thur they get Friday off before they go back to single elimination on Sat
