Why are you changing the subject?
I didn;t change a damn thing. Conservatives want to cut spending to be able to reduce taxes. Or has that changed now?
quote:
We are talking about DeSantis who is fiscally conservative and runs surpluses versus Trump who is one of the biggest spenders in history.
You will never win with the Covid BS spending. Never. It was all of congress and Good lil Ronnie who GLADLY took it.
It's stupid. But we can continue to play that fooking game.

DeSantis did give tax relief to residents of Florida. It was about $2 billion this year I believe.
That's a joke right.. Here is the Senate on that:
“Florida cannot independently fix or outpace runaway inflation caused by excessive spending and socialist policies in Washington."
14 billion you stated in surplus right? 22 million people in FL. Pretty sure they could help out drastically if they WANTED TO.
So what did they do!!!
- SHORT-TERM BROAD-BASED SALES TAX HOLIDAYS
Establishes Two Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday
LMAO!
- Establishes Two Two-Week 2023 Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holidays
- 3-month Sales Tax Holiday on Recreational Items.. Just make sure it's on the list!!
Damn.. Who knew Gov knew exactly that I needed TAX RELIEF FOR A FOOKING MOVIE!!!! VS... FOOOD!
- OH SHITE.. OBAMA PHONE!!! lite.. Freezes Local Cell Phone and TV Tax
That's what they passed.

You always leave out Trump for some reason. I'm starting to think it's on purpose and you're a partisan actor here.

One of your biggest talking points on here is Trump's economy. Dod Trump have anything to do with creating job growth and economic prosperity or not

No I don't. Go back into this very thread and read the exchanges between 808 and myself.

You mean when he cut taxes. Yep. Actual taxes... not holiday tax free day.... if it's the product you need?
But I'm sure you are about to educate me.. but I warn you. Be careful....

I just did. Every time Trump was mentioned regarding his reckless CARES Act you changed the subject to DeSantis or blamed Congress. Always conveniently leaving out Trump's role in that disaster.

You incredibly low level of logical thought hasn’t changed one bit since you stopped posting on SECR and it honestly makes me so happy.

Funny I thought we were talking about deficits and surpluses.

Yeah but you just said he didn't "push tax relief". He did. He ran a surplus and gave some money back and started a rainy day fund. That is fiscal conservatism.
BTW, you need to be talking about Trump the "big spender". DeSantis passes the test on be being fiscally conservative. Trump does not.

I'm not in favor of most taxes but tax relief isn't exactly a priority in Florida.

Look how over the top emotional you make them, Jj. You’re the Pied Piper of PT.

Exactly and why DeSantis's relief is targeted at and really helps the lowest earners who are most impacted by inflation
Dude is a fricking idiot

Then you missed this.
In order to get it, one has to come to terms with a virus called COVID-19. That it did in fact kill people. That we can all look back and to trace where it came from and hold the people responsible for that release and development.
Once you get past that point, and you are a Gov of a state or the president of the USA.... You are responsible for the safety of the citizens.
At that point choices had to be made. We should be pissed. Pissed at the ones that actually did it. (and to be clear here... we are talking about the ones who released and developed it. The ones that covered it up. )
Playing this covid-19 blame game is misplaced.
