No.. You don;t get it. If you did, we would not be having this conversation.

In order to get it, one has to come to terms with a virus called COVID-19. That it did in fact kill people. That we can all look back and to trace where it came from and hold the people responsible for that release and development.

Once you get past that point, and you are a Gov of a state or the president of the USA.... You are responsible for the safety of the citizens.

At that point choices had to be made. We should be pissed. Pissed at the ones that actually did it. (and to be clear here... we are talking about the ones who released and developed it. The ones that covered it up. )

Playing this covid-19 blame game is misplaced.

So let's keep on this path! I can do it all day.

Then why did RON shut down his state?

He is the only one with the POWER to do that.

Trump didn’t sign a National Covid emergency declaration?

Trump didn’t ask all non-essential workers to stay home?

What world were you living in when Covid hit?

ESG blew up when Donnies corporate welfare went out during Covid.

We are where we are because of Bush, Trump, Obama and Biden.

That's not a lock down order.

Waiting on you to provide the lock down order.

Not an order.

The one that understood that Covid was killing people. That did not think we should lock down. But once states decided they would, that meant giving back tax payer dollars.

Says the man that is supporting a Gov who locked down his state. Put road blocks into his state. Told businesses to comply of he will send his grim reaper (his literal term) after them. Gave the authority to Dem mayors to arrest people and kept it all in place until summer of 2021!

COOL RATIONALE sir.

A lot of the stay at home orders happened after the CARES Act was signed on March 27.

Minnesota and New Hampshire stay at home orders on March 27.

Alaska, Montana, Rhode Island, Kansas, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Maine, Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Missouri and South Carolina after March 27.

I think it's safe to say that most of those states never would have issued those orders without the CARES Act. States that locked down before March 27, likely would have needed to lift their lockdowns without Federal tax dollars.

@RepThomasMassie

The 2020 CARES Act didn’t just wreck the economy; it cost Trump the election.

It funded shutdowns into November, fueled panic, and set the precedent that made the “mail in election” inevitable. (Republicans in Congress argued it was too dangerous for _them_ to vote in person.)
