well even if you were run over by a train or a bus, it was still listed as a covid death
but INFLUENZA was way down by huge margins because everyone had on those stupid masks, so it wasnt spreading to everyone as it normally did.
i believe it was reported that hospitals said it was down something like 60% lower than normal, but it was rare to find details because they were hiding so much and putting out so much fake data.

That's the excuse I heard at the time - never made sense to me - if masks were effective, why weren't they used for decades against the flu.
as a matter of fact, for 2-3 years prior to COVID I had COPD-type coughing episodes. I asked my doctor if a mask would work - (I had plenty of masks that I wore while mowing my lawn during dusty conditions so as to not accentuate my coughing) No doctor ever said that they would have any effect against my getting the flu.
I wore them anyway - knowing I didn't have the flu, but as a courtesy to everyone else in the grocery store when I was out in public = because THEY wouldn't know if I was sick or not.

Data was fake you say? Interesting.

No link, it's from memory, but I saw multiple stories that oddly never got any traction on doctors and researchers reporting that influenza numbers were down over 90% in the US, and the death rate from influenza was something like a 95% reduction from pre-corrvid years.

Ear loop masks don't do shite for the prevention of inhalation of airborne influenza virus. It's about 4× the size of the Covid virus but still passes easily through the air (and the mesh of cloth masks) and can remain there for some time, not much heavier than aerosols. General hygiene such as hand washing and avoiding touching potentially contaminated surfaces as much as possible are actions that are far more effective at prevention of catching the flu.

after the first generation of the marxian bioweapon, it went down by approximately the same as the number of "covid" deaths
odd that
odd that
