Kinda mean putting all your money into a building you didn't own to the point that you have no money left when the lease is pulled.

Assuming that's what she did

This lady is an absolute moron though. She obviously can't read the room like the Bud Light marketing lady. New Roads?

People see trends on social media and think it'll make the great marketing splash these other places see. You can do that kind of stuff in Tampa, not so much in sleepy New Roads.

Not everyone is an evangelical conservative so don’t know why you’re talking about church? I will celebrate each and every time a gay, trans, drag democrat activist fails. They brought the fight (culture war) to us, specifically the MSM’s anti-Trump rhetoric since 2015. They can live with the consequences of their actions

In a discussion about a small town restaurant owner being boycotted, I was too broad to reference the church crowd missing her brunch service anyway; but lumping this individual with the msm culture war is properly narrow.

This is not cancel culture. It’s voting with dollars. Boycotts are different

Zero chance you watched the video or read the article. The landlord turned off the AC during the drag show, then raised the rent so high she couldn’t afford it. This has nothing to do with a boycott and if everything is portrayed accurately (which I’m 99% certain it isn’t ) I feel bad for the landlord if no kids were involved with the drag show, even if I disagree with it. Her restaurant, she can do what she wants.

It doesn't seem most of the people commenting have been to Pointe Coupee / New Roads. Frankly, I am shocked the building wasn't burned down over this.

It's like 1950 over there with regards to social issues.

In my reality, I don't police my own neighbors who are doing legal things with other adults.

When did this become the tactic of capitalism?

If you don’t want to go, don’t go. Threatening someone’s life is what I would expect out of the left.

Drag shows have been going on for decades and, while viewed as weird, nobody cared. It was only with the rise of the “trans-rights” movement and its efforts to indoctrinate children into their homosexual fetishism, that people began turning against them. So, they’ve done this to themselves.

Extremists are Extremists.

They have more in common with each other than they do with an middle.

Yep. From what I always gathered they were just men dressed as women. Gay or whatever.

Like Big Freedia said, he is a gay man who dresses as a woman. He isn't trans in any way.

It is very believable that violence would be threatened over this.

One of the favored tactics from the left to silence opposing voices is to falsely claim threats of violence. To believe her claims without any evidence provided, is to be quite gullible.

The push for child trannyism isn't coming from the gay movement. Its coming from social reformers who need to get children under the LBGTQ umbrella even if they're just confused.

It comes from feminism. 4th wave feminism specifically.

Public perception is that it does come from the gay movement. They’ve even put them on their homosexual fetish flag. If the gay community doesn’t want to be lumped in with the trans movement, they have an odd way of showing it.
