I believe he studied there and got kicked out for sexual misconduct, but is claiming discrimination. He’s choosing to be homeless because he’s protesting lsu

When I was in college, he was a student at LSU. I believe he may even have an undergrad. He was actually a super nice guy, but obviously seems to have some bad mental health issues now. He used to hang out at the BCM at lot

He’s an a-hole. A fellow poster saw him at CCs and offered him a ride if he needed one. Forest went apeshit on him.

He sits out there in all weather, just watching cars go by. He has nice bags, clean clothes and a phone and laptop.

Yep, I used to see that dude on the bench on Acadian between Perkins and the RR trestle.

He was trying to cross Acadian and I stopped to let him cross I guess he took offense to how I waved because he ripped open his shirt and pounded his chest like he wanted to fight.

For whoever asked, yes, something is off with this dude

You get the feeling one day he'll graduate from hostel chef to hostile transient and make the news. "Issues are present."

Saw him in Trader Joe's one time during pandemic when you had to wait outside in line to get in and they wouldn't let you bring in outside bags. He had a backpack they were trying to make him leave outside while he was doing his shopping. He got very angry at them saying that he is a writer and that his life's work was in that bag and he wouldn't leave it with a stranger. After that we started seeing him all the time sitting in the same location. He seems to be OK, so I don't worry about him too terribly much.
