2024 LSU commit and Chillicothe (Ohio) tight end Tayvion Galloway is a longtime pledge for the Tigers. Offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock is in Ohio to swing by Galloway’s high school during the evaluation period.

The four-star prospect is a leader in the 2024 recruiting class for the Tigers.

“I’m going after them whether they’re committed to other schools or uncommitted,” Galloway told On3 this spring. “I’m going after them to bring the best to BR. The BK effect is real. I was one of the first to buy in. You see what’s happening. It hasn’t slowed down since it’s started. You see what we did first year. Next year, we’re going to keep showing more.”

An active prospect with fans on social media, Galloway pegged the commitment to football down south that drew him to Baton Rouge.

“For real, I would say it’s the love and hospitality everybody does down south about football,” he said. “Everybody’s so committed to it. Even if you’re not a person going to LSU, everybody in the Baton Rouge and Louisiana area really bleeds Purple and Gold. I love that feeling of being able to play in front of guys like that.
