re: Air Force tried an All Non White or Female pilot training class. It didn't go well.

I watched top gun maverick last night. It was terrible.

That’s actually pretty insulting to the Tuskegee Airmen. They were pretty badass pilots that got absolutely no favors or preferential treatment in their pursuit of excellence. I don’t believe any of those men would support this type of shenanigans.

The Military Services were the first to integrate before it was even mandated long ago . So basically saying you couldnt be discriminated when applying for a job, position etc... So if a particular race, gender etc.. was applying for a position there should be nothing to stop them. I believe that to be true from the time i served in the USAF. I met many high ranking women, minorities that held highly regarded positions. So now they are telling us that white males are the problem for pilot training.

This makes me angry because everyone is given equal opportunity to be pilots if that is their choice. Now the Air force is saying there are to many white males. How is that a problem when every candidate is given the same chance? So lower your standards because the white males are overachieving? So what am i to tell my son? Sorry son but just remember if you try your best it wont matter because if your up against a female or a minority they will get the job based on skin color and or certain body parts.
