I like odd instruments choices a lot. Always gets me excited to hear something different
going back to the Beatles and the sitar. They may not be super unusual but I love to hear a pedal steel, dobro, accordion and shite like that

Mark Knopfler used a metal-body resonator guitar on "Romeo and Juliet", and it sounds straight out of the Middle Ages.
Well, just my opinion. I don't know much about the Middle Ages.
