Dr. Robert Malone has advice about our governor election

In the last pages of his book 'Lies My Govt Told Me' Malone moves from the problem....We are headed toward global govt with no individual freedom. Toward possible solutions for America.
He is pessimistic about what the individual citizen can do against the federal bureaucracy coupled with the giant multi-national corporations that want global power.
He says our best hope is in state leadership. The constitution gives the states a lot of power against federal fiat. But the governor has to have the guts to take on the threats by the fed (like taking away federal subsidies). But it can be done.
He mentions two names of men who have displayed a combative mindset against Wash, DC. One is obvious...Ron Desantis.
The other is Jeff Landry of La.

Landry, like him or not, he is the best option, IMO.

The only one we have that has shown a willingness to fight.

Not many states feed from the federal government tit like Louisiana. It would take some serious onions to cut those ties.

A plaintiff attorney by trade and career politician?
Don’t we have that in office now? Same politician / background, just different letter behind his name.
Hard pass.

I’ve been saying that Landry is the leader we need in a time like this.

He hasn't done squat since just recently.

OK, tell me who else has even a chance to win the election as a Republican....
I see some nice young options, but not now, they can't win.

Landry is hands down the best option and will govern as a true conservative. It amazes me when R’s make negative comments about him….probably “Republicans for Edwards” making those comments

Care to list all of his accomplishments that have helped to address our states most pressing needs?

Well, that leaves John Bel Edwards out.

No better reason to GTFO out of the Union than to have these sandbaggers either begin to pull their own weight, or, pack up and go to a Blue utopia.
The founders all knew the power was in the states and their sovereignty. Except maybe Washington and Hamilton who both believed to dine degree in the need for a strong federal government to oversee the states.

Any R who makes the run off will win. Waguespack, Hewitt, Nelson

Nope. Voted against JBE’s opponents every single time. You should change the name of your avatar.
Just don’t like Landry. Period. He doesn’t impress me, but all of his fans act like I should fawn at the mere mention of his name.

Though the state political apparatuses in the individual states largely serve as mechanisms to continue the status quo above all other concerns, THIS is the way. Yet this necessarily entails that it will be a perilous and difficult fight because of the corrupting influence of money and the deeply embedded power of the reigning bipartisan establishment.

Kristi Noem can be included in that list, at least as it relates to the COVID-1984 pandemic. Yet as has been much discussed here, Noem has displayed wobbly knees on this demonic “trans” agenda.
In contrast, Alabama governor Kay Ivey was absolutely horrible during the pandemic yet has been solid on this “transgender” insanity. The point here is there will be no perfect candidate in our fundamentally compromised political system.
Does this mean we resign ourselves to tyranny? No, we should continue to fight within this corrupted political environment.
Yet this necessarily means dispensing with the absurd notion that sending the correct slate of electors to Congress will “save” the Republic. It is the ultimate realization of the Sisyphean Myth.
Indeed, the most insidious myth promoted by this UniParty® charade is the fanciful notion that that the Potomac Beltway can be reformed. It is the cliched definition of insanity.
Washington D.C. can no more be “reformed” than a malignant cancer. If Liberty is to arise again in this once great nation, it will be in the from of nullification, subsidiary and even secession movements in the individual states.

Shitton of energy passes through (and from) the borders of this state. There's a LOT of leverage there.

What is not mentioned in the US Constitution is only a matter of the States.
Our States, by the 10th Amendment, contain the Federal Goooooooooooooooooberment. If there were ever a time for a Convention of the States, it is now.
All politics are local yet we worry more about DC than our on state or city hall. The Feds are extremely corrupt, pass unconstitutional bills or foreign aid 24/7.
They must be reined in as the US Constitution provides.
