Lets look at all the problems that come with cigarettes and alcohol.
There is no way to justify tobacco products and alcohol being legal and marijuana not.
It being illegal doesn't really stop people from doing, what keeps most people from doing it is the possibility of being drug tested at work. I don't do it every day.. I go weeks, sometimes months without doing it, but no matter what it is, there will be some problem caused by it.
You want it to stay illegal for what? You think people should go to jail for doing it? Or should have to pay some type of fine for doing it?

In terms of health effects, THC is no worse than alcohol. It should be legal, but I definitely don't buy into the stupid arse worship cult that treats weed like it's a completely harmless drug, because it isn't. There's decades of evidence that document negative effects on the areas of the brain that control memory and cognitive function.
