Are they any good? I’m not familiar with that brand.

EGO is pretty expensive, but they make quality stuff. On average, the batteries hold a lot of their charge for the duration of their warranty. They will replace parts easily if under warranty.
The multi-head system is great. Can swap from string trimmer/hedge trimmer/edger/pole saw/brush/cultivator. Helps with space saving and ease of use when all you have to do is just swap parts.
I got into the EGO ecosystem with the brushless pushmower. It's a hoss. Very easy to maintain.

Do those strings hold up pretty well? I have to edge around concrete and have to replace the string what seems like every 20 seconds
It's annoying.

Does anyone have experience with that pole saw attachment?

Same here. I tried different size strings, tried not touching the concrete so much, and still felt like i was constantly running through string.
I got the Ego trimmer recently and have used it a handful of times already. Difference was night and day. It's not like i'm weed eating any differently, but the string is lasting a hell of a lot longer with it.
Maybe it's not as powerful as my Echo was, although i don't notice that, but maybe the velocity or torque of the head is lower on the EGO over a good gas trimmer, and that is causing the string to last longer.

If your string trimmer has adjustable speed, try going a little lower. I have the Makita 18x2 and if I leave it on full power, it chews through line just hitting grass. Bumped it down a notch and now the string lasts like it should.

That’s a decent deal
I have lots of their stuff and never a problem
Fwiw, they’re owned by Chevron

I have the blower, weed eater, and edger. I’ve had them for 2 years and not a single problem yet. I love ‘em… I’ve recommended them many times over and would buy more items from them if the need arose
