First swarm of the season here in Mandeville. They usually crank up around Mother’s Day.

The warm February got those frickers growing earlier than usual.

Any resident antecedental meteorologist have a clue what that means for Hurricane season?

Yes and it is a firm indicator that crawfish will be shy high this year. Shrimp prices will be low as every year.

The factors for termites swarming are evening temps and humidity

I figured we still had another week or two, so I had all my outside lights on (and a ton of inside lights on). Didn't notice anything until I found some in my bathtub and by my front door. Guess I'll be living in darkness for the next few weeks.

Hope they don't swarm as long as last year. Assholes were swarming well into June last year from what I remember
