Made reservations tonight at the Ambassador Caffery location for a date. I’ve never eaten there. Basic Cajun fare?

Oysters Rockefeller, etouffee, bisque, and crab cakes have all been well done the times I've stopped in there. Have had a variety of their drinks and appetizers and all have been well enough. Not outstanding, not disappointing, just well done for the price point.

It's a good lunch spot. Good fried/boiled shrimp, char grilled oysters, poboys and such. Never been for dinner..

I go there for the fizzo's fried fish dinner 100% of the time. I used to get shrimp and fish mix but I like the fish so much I now just get all fish lol. It has always been cooked to perfection for me and their hot sauce is good. When I want fried fish I go there, I am also not far so it makes it easy.

I go to Crowley location often

Ribeye is good

Ribeye or shrimp enchilada are good but you will need a nap after

Cajun club if its still on menu

Gumbo is pretty good

Seafood stuffed mushrooms were best menu item but they took them off for some reason

I’ve eaten there twice the past two weeks haha, I’m just a couple miles from Cafe Josephine. Maybe too close…took my daughter on a date last weekend and spent $200.
