Jumped in the car and it’s brutal. He’s so polished, but he has zero energy. Plus I have no idea what’s going on most of the time. It’s the same cadence the whole time. Get hyped baw. frick.

I sure miss that Hawthorne intensity. He really made the game fun to listen to.

It’s a general commentary on him as an announcer for the years he’s been here. I haven’t heard a single call of his that was really worth listening to. Seems like a nice enough guy and professional, but not a fit.

That's because he's just bland. Just sterile. Boring, cookie cutter, and devoid of intensity or passion. Not willing to say anything that couldn't be said to a 4 year old.

I grew up on Hawthorne so I miss him, but it is pretty damn nice actually knowing what is happening
