Do you think Mulkey will schedule more marquee non conference games going forward?

Sec is strong enough
She’s not gonna beat her team up if she doesn’t have to

No reason to

Just make the tournament as a high enough seed to host first 2 rounds at home

All that matters

Things seem to work out ok for us this year without the marquee nonconference schedule.

We’re playing in the Cayman Islands tournament with UConn, VA Tech and UCLA. We should get one game against one of those teams. And we’ll get a high profile game as part of the SEC-ACC challenge. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s Notre Dame.

I don't think it helped Tennessee.

We'll get a few. I don't expect it to be loaded, but there will be games to get people into the PMAC.

Yes she will. THis year she knows that she has a talented team so losing a couple games early won't keep them from hosting first round games. It will instead prepare them better for tough SEC, Elite 8, & Final Four competition. Look for some good away games to toughen them up.
