Is the apathy setting in at an all time early point? Would really like to see another offensive explosion and get this series even.

Slow starts have seemed the norm in this decade with this manager.

Hopefully, Chas’ vision problems clear up. Leadoff spot should be interesting tonight.

That’s one reason I’m not concerned still. But man there are some holes in this lineup currently, and Garcia has just looked terrible

I’ve been worried about Garcia since the middle of last season. Just hoping the bullpen doesn’t get worse.

And hopefully Altuve and Brantley arrive ready to hit.

Yea I’m not concerned yet big picture because I feel this lineup full and healthy is as deep as anyone else’s in MLB, and the bullpen is still elite.

But the lack of depth in the rotation has me a little uneasy. Garcia just isn’t all that special when he’s sitting 92-93, hopefully he’s able to get some velo back and starts to sit 95-96 and that allows the fastball to really jump with the cutter.

Our reign over the Rangers is over now. They have surpassed us.

And yeah Garcia has been completely arse so far that's concerning.

It feels like a loss.

I just look forward to hearing from Julia, Todd and Blummer.

He's Dustys 3 run home run guy. Not gonna hit 3 run home runs behind Maldy and the like.

Would help if Bregman and Pena weren't both batting .200. They're both below Maldonado's .219.

Edit: just saw that chart here and Meyers at .158 vomit emoji

Bregman started the season 0-20 or something like that. Since then he's gone .282/.417/.462 with a double 2 homers 6RBI 8 walks and 3 strikeouts in 10 games.

Pena also had a long hitless streak but I don't think he's followed it up quite as strong.

ETA: no once he came out of the hitless streak, he's still at .235 with a sub .300 on base. He does have 5 extra base hits in those 8 games but that's about the only high point.

Bregman has looked great at the plate lately. He adjusted very quickly

Abreu is king of the shite list currently, even above Pena for me

Abreu is another slow starter. His monthly splits say we're getting the worst of him right now.

Maybe if Abreu took some ropes off it might help his balance on his shitty plate appearances
