How does faircloth afford to run for every judge race?
It’s only his second race. It’s grassroots fundraising. We went to law school together. He’s a great guy and will be a great judge. We donated for both campaigns. There are lot of similar people to me that he is connected with that give moderate amounts to him.

Given this total lack of experience, his supporters wish to promote his candidacy by claiming he’s a conservative when it comes to crime! Really, where’s the evidence? None! Blank! Zero! Just his babbling every time he tries to become a judge. Political bs! That’s it.
Nonsense. As an attorney, I can say without hesitation that being a judge is the easiest job an attorney can have. The whole “experience” argument for DAs is just utter foolishness. It will take about two months for a new judge without prosecutorial experience to be comfortable in the role. Plus, we have people like Wilson Fields who has been a judge forever and he is absolutely terrible.
I know both Jordan and Louise and both are good people. Either one will immediately be in the top half of judges in the 19th upon swearing in. That said, I support and will vote for Jordan. He will be much harder on criminals.

Why is Hines allowed to run in a district she doesn’t live in?

If you live in EBR, you can run for any judicial seat at the 19th. You can live in CCL and run as a Democrat for the NBR seat.
Knowing the voting districts, she probably lives in the Garden District. So it isn't like she lives in Ascension or Brusly. She probably just lives a few streets away from the actual voting district.

louise is working over time and spending serious cash.

Probably didn’t think anyone would call her out on being a completely dishonest lib.

Not sure if it is my posting in this thread, but I'm getting hit with ads for this race and it is getting dirrty. Lol.

Good. I hope Jordan nukes her. A leftist doesn’t belong in this seat.

Anyone know if she has been asked these questions directly, and if so, how she responded.
I'll even take a response from someone in the campaign or even from one of her voters.

Not much for her to respond with...she's just trying to run out the clock and spend lots of money to keep the scam rolling until election day.
Myers changed parties in 2022.
Myers has donated to liberal democrats.
Myers has posted far left BS on social media.
Myers wiped her social media of political discussion before the campaign.
Myers failed the Bar.

My God! Who in their right mind would vote for a person like this?

There is a lot of bad information on this board.
Who do you think is more qualified? The woman who has been prosecuting violent crimes for over a decade or the baseball player?

Faircloth will be much tougher on crime. Violent criminals before him will have a tough time walking the streets. This is a fact. We need Jordan in this seat.

Louis has that old money hating St. George backing.

If you are satisfied with the prosecution of violent criminals in EBR then vote for Myers.
I’m not. There are way too many habitual criminals on the street, too many violent criminals out in bond and too many that are charged and not prosecuted.
It may not be her fault, but she’s the one using the current DA to campaign for her, and is running on her record. Not me. I think the DA, the mayor, the Chief, the Sheriff and the judges are all responsible for our current state of affairs.

There’s no point in ignoring Faircloth’s successful, decade+ legal career. You can still value Myers’ criminal experience without pretending like Faircloth is a meathead or something.

A lot of the bad information has come from Louise’s campaign and the cronies regurgitating his bullshite talking points. I would say she’s been largely unsuccessful as a prosecutor and without the support of Hillar Moore, most people wouldn’t really know who she was, that is outside of the old Baton Rouge crowd of U-High grads and friends of her parents.

Fair point. I happen to think she has more relevant experience. And unfortunately I sense that many on this board will just vote for him because he played ball at LSU.
