Louisville police report "multiple casualties" in active shooter situation downtown

Local reports are there at least one officer down and multiple casualties.

This is about 2-3 blocks from Humana buildings and right around UofL's Health Sciences campus.

Subject contacted persons unknown by phone stating he was suicidal and was going to kill people
At this time what is known the shooter is deceased a officer was shot and transported to trauma room 9.....two subjects( maybe more) were shot in a conference room ..one deceased.. one possibly alive...(again info subject to update and change) Another located with a GSW to the leg...
??911 a.m. dispatch was advised a officer is standing by with four 10-80s... That's four deceased??
??947 a.m. dispatch was advised they have the shooter's vehicle which was a gray Mazda 6 it is parked north of the Old national Bank in the parking lot (they gave the tag number of the vehicle but it's irrelevant to post that at this point)
??9:57 p.m. requesting a chaplain at the command post (which was last stated to be main and Jackson)
??10:03 a.m. dispatch was advised the suspect vehicle was swept by the bomb squad determined to be clear

Police said shooter was dead when they arrived on scene.

So this a-hole felt suicidal and decided he was going to take people with him? Frick him. Just kill yourself and let the world continue to spin without your sorry arse.
