Classified war documents containing secret American and NATO plans to aid Ukraine in a planned offensive against Russian troops have been posted on social media channels, according to senior Biden administration officials.
The documents, which include anticipated weapons deliveries and troop and battalion strengths, do not provide specific battle plans, but military analysts say they offer many insights into American intelligence efforts to aid Ukraine.
Sabrina Singh, the deputy press secretary at the Pentagon, claimed “We are aware of the reports of social media posts and the department is reviewing the matter.”
Although some parts of the leaked documents appear to be authentic, analysts warn that they could provide valuable information to Russia, such as timetables for the delivery of weapons and troops, Ukrainian troop buildup numbers, and other military details.
According to a slide from the leaked documents, there was a discrepancy regarding the amount of casualties. Ukrainian troop deaths were estimated to be as high as 71,500, while Russian soldiers killed were estimated to be between 16,000 to 17,500. However, the Pentagon and other analysts believe that the actual number of casualties on both sides may be higher than the estimates mentioned in the documents. Russia is believed to have suffered closer to 200,000 killed and injured, while Ukraine has had more than 100,000 killed and injured.
The Pentagon is investigating the leak of the documents, which appeared on Twitter and Telegram.

Anyone that thinks Russia has lost 200k is a lunatic.

Where are the plans? Are there slides or something out there in pdf?

Leaks happen for a purpose.

Leaked documents put on social media. Good job Biden.

Same damn story. Instigate a war and suppress information to the public

These numbers are in line with most knowledgeable, legitimate sources trying to cover this war.

The Pentagon, most Western governments such as British, and their aligned “analysts” are not legitimate sources of information. Same goes for the Russian and Ukrainian governments, obviously.

This is just pure fan fiction

It has been known since the beginning that Russia had around 120K-150K active combat troops deployed. that number has not changed. how did the Ukrainians manage to kill 200K?
that is a total annihilation of a standing army.

They certainly have a good idea as to what the real numbers are. They will not be releasing those real numbers to the public when they do not suit their aims.
See above. "It's authentic except for those KIA numbers. Those are way too low for the Russians."

In reality any large Ukrainian offensive or Russian for the matter will be easily spotted by drones, spies, satellites etc well before it gets rolling.
There no hiding or secret anything when it comes to large maneuvers of armor and troops in open terrain like Ukraine. No faking or propaganda anything.

This has not happened. Need the Russian number high to say the money being sent is making a difference defeating Russia (and overall it’s not). Send more though.

Do I think Russian casualties are above the reported 17k? Yes. The Russians have a habit of reporting the dead as deserters rather than acknowledging deaths.
200k dead though?
you serious Clark?
200k dead though?

They were claiming Russia lost like 30k soldiers within the first week of the war. Just never made sense.
I understand why we've been fed propaganda. I mean.. over 70k Ukrainian soldiers killed. That is brutal for morale if that news spreads around. It also opens up the question, if Ukraine has already lost that many soldiers, why are we still demanding Ukraine not participate in any talks of peace?
What is the goal. Even if Ukraine eventually wins, they will have no standing military left. The entirety of their defense will be reliant on us stationing a helluva lot of our troops over there. Essentially, we'll have conquered Ukraine without actually fighting Ukraine.

I pointed out we lost 55K in 11 or so years in Vietnam. Got called a Putin lover.

There's no way that Ukraine is taking 4:1 losses in troops on their own turf and are still fighting. In most military engagements where troop strengths are equal, the invading force takes 3:1 losses vs the home team. Russia isn't good enough to flip that script by a factor of 12.
