Looks like it’s going to be here in Little Rock aroujd 3am-6am.
Last Friday at camp was the first time my phone went off for a tornado emergency. Scared the shite out of me due to how loud it was.

Glad I moved away from Central Arkansas.

As a Louisiana baw, I had and still have no idea how to deal with a tornado. Good bless those people.

These past few days with the Iowa outbreaks have given us some of the best tornado footage I've ever seen. I just wish it didn't come with absolute carnage. 2023 has been on full tilt weather wise...and it's only April.

We moved up to Indiana from Idaho in November. I'm already done with this shite. Too scary for me with no real reward other than (surprise surprise) a LCOL.

Hurricanes give you warning and you can evacuate.

Heavy rain/lightning is kinda badass when you're indoors and it doesn't flood.

Snowstorms are fine if you're prepared.

A volcanic eruption (West risk) is scary, but at least you have awesome views.

Earthquakes also scare the shite out of me and I'd never live on the west coast for that reason.

You can't completely avoid natural disasters, but you can get the hell out of tornado alley. I had seen tornados rip through Louisiana before, but for some reason Friday night's tornado scared the shite out of me. Came about 6 miles south and leveled a couple houses.

Not for me, Jack.

Supposed to be flying back to Little Rock from Houston at 8 pm for a 9:30 landing tonight. Best guess is I’m staying the night in Houston tonight. This is after that tornado ripped a mile from my house Friday and spent the weekend cleaning at friends impacted. This weather can go back to hell. Tired of it.

Sick that I won’t be home to be with the kids. They won’t sleep and neither will I.
