The last 2 LSU games were polar opposites. The LSU/Miami game might’ve legitimately been the worst sporting event I’ve ever watched. The natty was so much more exciting if you don’t think about how bad the refs were.

I think Caitlin Clark and the non excitement around the men’s tournament really helped boost this number.

You hit the nail on the head. That Miami game was worse than AWFUL if that's possible. They sure turned it around and it worked out in the end.

Oh, and a big F' You to the NCAA for screwing CKM and giving them a 3 seed. The laugh is on them as it worked out perfectly and she beat them at their own game.

Mulkey said something that the players thought the ball was overinflated and was giving them trouble. At the time I thought nothing of it. But them scoring 180 points in two games in Dallas makes me think there was something off that day.

Yeah, once LSU rallied from 9 down to beat VT (who was absolutely on fire), I felt that anything was possible in the title game no matter how tall the task because it was hard to beat VT on that day. LSU somehow managed to do it.

That was a great game and that SC vs. Iowa showdown was epic. Clark had the best game I've ever seen a woman have against a top team. Those games and Clark's performance made for a lot of excitement heading into the title game. And outside of those first few minutes, LSU played a damn-near perfect game when you consider the stage and opponent.

Have to agree here. That game was absolutely brutal to watch. But the National championship game was fantastic. Ups and downs I guess.

Ya think? I mean the Iowa/USCe game outdrew our F4 match against Miami by a ton. Our numbers were very good there too but Clark was a big difference maker with people talking her up as the female version of Pistol Pete basically.

Had USCe beat them the final game numbers would have been much lower, but still probably far better than previous years.
