Let be real for a woman's game that was about the best you were going to see. I mean the 3's were unbelievable and not many shots missed. Had there not been foul trouble by both teams it would have probably ended 130 to 120. If ever they picked a game for prime time this one nailed it! Two stars on both teams didnt disappoint. For the older guys had the feel of Boston vs La from the golden era of NBA. Well done women's basketball. That game will be talked about for a long time.

the women's tournament had all the name recognition in the final 4 this year.

i couldn't name one player in the men's final 4.

That's where the one-and-dones are killing the men's game. Any guy who makes a name for himself is gone before the sport gets to utilize that momentum.

I think Caitlin Clark

Ya think? I mean the Iowa/USCe game outdrew our F4 match against Miami by a ton. Our numbers were very good there too but Clark was a big difference maker with people talking her up as the female version of Pistol Pete basically.

Had USCe beat them the final game numbers would have been much lower, but still probably far better than previous years.

And this game game on at 2:30 CT, I think if it had a later time slot it would have been much higher.

It used to be primetime on Monday night. I hope they make the change back to primetime next year.

Also, I’m curious to see the ratings from last nights game. That was an absolute snooze fest.

I read they couldn't make it primetime due a previous contract to air American Idol on Sunday night. So they had to choose between ESPN at primetime or ABC at 2. They wanted the increased exposure by having it on a network rather than cable.

After the ratings for this game, I definitely see that decision continuing.

That many also watched them not participate in the National Anthem.

Those who were so against kneeling said to stay in the locker room rather than 'disrespect' the flag. They stay in the locker room. Y'all still mad. They've stayed in the locker room all season long and it may have nothing to do with kneeling. Kim may have made that decision a long time ago to circumvent any possible controversy.
