Looking for public opinion:
1) does it seem like any and everybody is talking about A.I. or am I in an echo chamber?
2) As a customer or a business owner, does being able to interact with/utilize A.I. in everyday business scare the shite out of you? …. Or does it excite you?
ETA: just curious to get the temperature in the room for it in everyday life.

People want AI because they are lazy and don’t want to work and evolve. There is no happy ending to this. It ends up as Terminator or Wall-E.

Our current AI is a fancy search engine. It just spits out an amalgamation of what people have said previously. It is great for writing bs letters and e-mails though.

The real shite people should be scared about with AI isn't chat-GPT type stuff - that's essentially just the next version of Google search. It's the people trying to give the machines self learning abilities, emotions and trying to figure out how to program a conscious in them. That's the shite that we should really worry about with AI.

No man. It’s real. You can write 5-7 1000 word articles, feed it into ai, and tell it to adopt your writing style.
Once adopted, you can copy/paste random articles into it, and it will spit out rewritten articles that sound exactly like you wrote them yourself.
That shite is real, because I’m using it now. I’m simply curious to know how many average people (by average, I mean people not entrenched in DR Marketing) know about it.
And the ones that do, how do you feel about it’s use?
