Roger Daltrey always seemed cool to me. Plus he was never into hard drugs and is still touring, even though he's pushing 80.
Plus, you'd get to punch Pete Townshend in the face.

I'd have to put Plant on the list. That dude lived the life when LZ was in its prime.
Yup. That's who was first on my list also.

I really wouldn't want to be them, but I'd like to play the guitar like Slash and sing like Neil Diamond.

Post rehab James Hetfield is a private, family oriented man that likes hunting and bees. I wouldn't mind that life.

David Lee Roth seemed to enjoy his share of women in his hay day.
I saw a recent interview, and he seemed like a really cool, normal guy. Never knew he went to be an EMT (in NYC, no less) later in life, despite having tons of money. Did it a couple years, because he respected that life and wanted to experience it firsthand.
And the discussion about touring contracts was both hilarious, and showed he was intelligent and thoughtful. They'd randomly toss in a line about requiring a bowl full of green M&Ms, or the contract was void and the arena would forfeit their take.
Said they put that in, because they had big pieces in their set, and arenas weren't meeting the requirements to have a safe show, just saying "yeah, come play here". Couldn't set the stage up right, couldn't power all the amps, etc.
So they started putting the M&M's clause in on page 3 or 4, to see if people even read the contracts. A few didn't
