She's a bad bitch but she also does really well at her job.

And she's from Louisiana.
Jennifer Roberts - LSU Bio

quote:

Jennifer Roberts came to LSU from Baylor with Head Coach Kim Mulkey in the spring of 2021, now serving at the Director of Women’s Basketball Player Personnel and Influence with a focus on help players make informed decisions on NIL opportunities presented to them that could enhance their personal brand. She has 20 years of experience working in collegiate athletics.

In her position with the Tigers, Roberts handles a range of duties that will include player appearances, team community service, and acting as the liaison for external projects. Jennifer will also serve as the academic liaison for the women’s basketball program, a position she held at Baylor where she led the Lady Bears to a 100-percent graduation rate for players that finished their academic eligibility with the school

Roberts works to enhance branding opportunities for players on the LSU Women’s Basketball team, working as a direct liaison with LSU’s NIL staff and ensuring that each student-athlete has the opportunity to grow their brand to the fullest potential. Roberts is a key helping women’s basketball student-athletes make educated decisions when it comes to expanding their brand and in turn, helping to maximize NIL opportunities.

Roberts joined Coach Mulkey’s staff at Baylor in 2000 where she served as an assistant coach for eight seasons and played a crucial role in the program’s rapid rise to national prominence before she moved into an operations role within the program. As a coach, she was one of Baylor’s top recruiters and helped land three Top 25 classes, which played a large role in Baylor’s then-three Sweet 16 appearances and the 2005 NCAA National Championship.

Because of those three Top 25 recruiting classes, Women’s Hoop Scoop voted Roberts a Top Ten Recruiting Assistant in 2006.

As the Coordinator for Operations under Coach Mulkey, Roberts had numerous other duties as well such as handling player appearances, serving as the team’s liaison for external projects, supervising the team managers and working with Coach Mulkey on her public appearances. Following Baylor’s 2019 National Championship, Roberts spearheaded the team’s locker room overhaul and design.

Prior to her stint to Baylor, Roberts had been associated with Louisiana Tech athletics for five years. She served as assistant to the Athletic Director where her primary responsibility was game management, including NCAA Regional games hosted by the Lady Techsters. She was a manager for the Lady Techsters for four years and participated in virtually every aspect of the program. In addition, Roberts spent four years as assistant coach for a Shreveport AAU basketball team where she coached in three AAU National Tournaments.

Roberts graduated from Louisiana Tech in 1997 with a degree in health and physical education. The Shreveport, La., native is a 1992 graduate of Evangel Christian Academy where she played basketball for four years.
