South Park: the new Butters

Last night's episode introduced a whole new and improved Butters. It was possibly the first cartoon to put a big grin on my face and leave it there to last until morning.
The Harry and Meghan ep may have gotten the most publicity ever, but the new Butters is one for the ages of South Park fans.

What about Butters did you consider "new"?
He displayed his business acumen and determination to make money like when he was a successful and well-respected pimp. He showed his assertiveness and displeasure with Cartman like he did throughout Super Fun Thyme. He also basically told Cartman to frick off at the end like he did when they had their Christian rock band together.

I watched the episode "How to Eat With your Butt" from season 5 the other day, and Butters is grounded in his room because his parents are pissed at him because they believe he goofed off in his school photo, when he was just smiling normally, and they chastise him and won't let him out because they still think he's making a funny face. It was actually pretty sad. I felt bad for him. Poor butters.
Pretty funny episode though.

Great episode. These guys are nailing it this season.

Butters and Kenny are my favorites! Both are true friends.

They absolutely skewered young people for using mental health as an excuse for being lazy and not wanting to actually work. I was crying when Cartman started the job.

Where are the episodes online?

they nailed it with nobody wanting to work, and when they do come to work, its comes with a ton of baggage

I will say that I think they nailed a few things in this one and it felt more like Classic SP (like much of this season)
However...I really didn't laugh that hard too much. Just smiled a good bit
