Any news out of Rolling Fork? The local school, Sharkey Issaquena Academy, had prom scheduled for tonight. Hopefully they postponed it…

Town is pretty much gone. That’s awful about SIA I hope they cancelled it

See Ravens post on an update from the Mayor.

Mayors house has been hit and can't leave due to power lines. Didn't hear of anything about a prom so hopefully they were either spared or they didn't have it

Our southern storm is losing that supercell structure it has carried with it for the past couple hours and is hopefully getting influenced by the line that is continuing to form. The front should catch it eventually and take out some of the high end potential it has had.

They've had golf ball sized hail reported with that storm.

I've seen multiple people calling it a deadly tornado. It will take a bit for anything official to come out.

That’s good news. I know a catfish farmer whose farm is just northeast of rolling fork no way it missed his farm.

Where the hell in glen allen did they have prom? There’s nothing in that town except Roy’s store

I’ll be shocked if SIA wasn’t hit, the school is in center of town on the east side

Ran across chasers who were hit bad by this tornado tonight. I’m so glad they were alive. Please be safe folks. This stuff is dangerous.

Especially at night.
