ESG good
If Dims don't like it, it's not fair and I will veto. But if Republicans don't like it, you will just have to deal with it, whether you like it or not.

"I just vetoed my first bill. This bill would risk your retirement savings by making it illegal to consider risk factors MAGA House Republicans don't like. Your plan manager should be able to protect your hard-earned savings — whether Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene likes it or not," he said.

I was going to make a thread about this...definitely putting up a campaign video about it later today.
ESG, which I will obliterate by EO immediately, is unconstitutional and is outright sabotage of our financial system.
Biden is owned by China. He is sabotaging our economy and financial markets.
It's betrayal, that simple.
Bartiromo seems to be getting closer to calling Biden an outright traitor. He's committed treason and this is an ignorant sabotage at best, working for China most likely.

What, exactly, does ESG have to do with risk?

all this doddering old fool can say now is "something something something MAGA REPUBLICANS something something something".
it's his PR team's ENTIRE STRATEGY. and being the clueless old man that he is, he just parrots it.

His reasoning makes no sense, and more importantly why is he singling out Marjorie Taylor Greene??

Pretty much.
ESG isn’t “risk factors” as much as “politics through other means” similar to Von Clausewitz.
There is no scenario under which ESG should return a higher ROI than a non-ESG investment. It limits growth at best and has major potential for downsides.

before the "yah, buts..." wake up for the day
please understand ESG stands for more than energy and oil...
There is also an 'S' and a 'G'
Ominous totalitarian move by the person getting 10 million "votes" more than anyone in history
The "BIG GUY" hissself

because some PR retard got a poll back that says it may be popular to criticize MTG this week amongst likely democrat voters.

Not surprising considering he has dementia.

Did you know that in our government there is a way to override a veto?
They'll hate this trick!

it doesnt HAVE to make sense because it doesnt matter. his supporters dont know the first fricking thing about it anyways, so he can do whatever he wants, screech MAGA REPUBLICANS ARE BAD, and they will lap it up.

It's simple.
If you don't acquiesce to ESG, the capitalists wont have access to capital for investment.
They want to block out non believers.

Those alleged "risk factors" have nothing - ZERO, ZIP, NADA - to do with whether you stand to lose or gain money.
ESG is nothing but a bunch of virtue signaling bullshite designed to CONTROL you and your money.
MTG is 100 percent right on this one.

Wait, he vetoed a bi-partisan bill???

Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W. Va., blasted Biden for the veto, saying, "President Biden is choosing to put his Administration’s progressive agenda above the well-being of the American people."

This is gaslighting at its finest. He makes it sound like the bill would restrict investors.
It actually prevents the government from restricting investors.
Just shows you how stupid they think you are and lack respect for the people they serve.

What I want to know is where are all of the jackass Dem supporters on this board that love some stupid crap like this? And can a single one of them justify his veto?
