Destroya is no doubt a huge part of it, but why is the Consent Degree such a drain on the force? I hear that get mentioned a lot.

I don’t know. I also hear JBE has offered numerous times to send in the guard. I live outside the state now, but keep close ties through TD and friends/family that still live there. Just can’t believe the force is dwindled down that low.

Because the demographic that screams racism every five mins is also the one that causes all the crime.

The city is fricked and desperately in need of different leadership at all levels of government. But that’ll never happen.

It’s not, it’s how Landrieu decided he wouldn’t fight any of it and then take what the feds recommended and add more. Then after he signed off on it didn’t realize the feds weren’t going to pay for it.

The killer is the added cost from the budget. You can’t hire people, equipment gets old, etc.

Everyone blames Latoya, and while she is a POS, NOPD’s woes are because of ol’Mitch.

It’s just a bunch of shite they agreed on to be more equitable in their policing.
