Has anyone done the tiger stadium golf tour yet? Want to take my boys and wondering if it’s worth it to spend the extra $60 per person for the VIP experience? Thanks!

We are going tomorrow night in VIP

I’m just doing the regular one tomorrow night. Might try to buy extra balls though when we get there.

I’m going tonight with a crew from our office. I’ll report back!

I heard that you take 18 shots only, is that true?

Here tonight and it’s pretty bad arse. More walking than you may think so there’s that. But tons of fun. VIP hits 3 balls per hole. Regular hits 2. You can buy extra balls and overall it’s been a ton of fun. Highly recommend!

Did you bring your own clubs, or do you need to? A few people in our group don’t play and are just going for fun so we were wondering if we need to let them use ours or if there are some provided. I usually don’t bring mine to top golf since we are just going to mess around and drink beer so if the clubs at the stadium are serviceable then I might opt to not carry my bag around all evening.

You actually can’t bring your clubs and use theirs. Which are cheapos but it’s all fun and they felt fine. I play a fair amount of golf and enjoyed it a ton!! We had an 8some from our office and everyone loved it. VIP has a range to warm up. Long drive challenge etc on the simulators inside. Food and drinks solid enough. There weren’t areas inside the stadium to buy more. So pile up before you start if you want some for the walk.
Seriously though. More walking than you may think. But was fun being in there at night with a breeze blowing.
Targets/greens are mostly easy to hit with exception to a few which are quite small.
I’ll try to post some pictures.

Did it last night, it was a very cool experience. We did the VIP. Got to take a tour of the gameday lockers and other areas! After we were done we did the putting and long drive challenge. Didn't wanna leave yet so we bought 30 more balls and just hit from the 9th tee. Extra balls are steep thou, $3 a ball.

Was super cool last night. Great experience and I’m thankful to have.

Went today had the the Vip package. I enjoyed the overall experience for the uniqueness. My complaints after we finished were no kids clubs. Also it was a bit ridiculous for the long drive contest to only have a ladies flex driver.

I agree. Also the holes could’ve been placed a bit more strategically. A TON of unecessary walking/elevator rides. Also for what you got with the VIP package, it was disappointing.

4 of us went yesterday morning and did the VIP thing. I agree, the VIP package was disappointing. Seems like they could have come up with a better plan for the greens and pins to personalize it a little better. Greens in the shape of LA, maybe spell out LSU, football shapes, etc. After the first couple "holes", it got very mundane especially with the walk between holes. Good thing we didn't invite anyone remotely out of shape. They need to inquire about a sponsorship with a golf club manufacturer, not necessarily a big name, but anyone who can supply them with decent clubs.

Went over the weekend. It's very much a unique experience for sure.
We had a work team building so it was paid for, but the for me the highlight was the locker room & Lawton Room tour. I had never been so that was a bit of a bucket list item for me.
VIP package was a bit lacking, mainly for club selection on the simulators.
As for the Stadium Tour Golf company I'm not sure how long they've been doing this but they got some learning to do.
-A lot walking, could plan the holes better
-Went on Friday with off/on rain and the poor people who worked each hole just had to sit in the rain. No covering for them, just a pancho. The clubs were getting rained on the whole time so we could barely swing them out of fear of launching one into the bleachers. About half the hole attendees did not have towels to dry the clubs, the other half had towels that were wet so didn't help they drying much.
I've been playing golf for 4-5 years and would not pay that kind of money just to hit golf balls in the stadium, though it is neat.

The tour definitely made it worth it. It was a one time deal for me but I would absolutely do it again if I had to do it over. The wind was insane when we went but it was a blast. I'm not gonna lie though, it was scary as hell at first and had to get used to it. It felt like my follow through was going to take me off the ledge and I was going to fall off the platform
