Amazon (Chase) has an Amazon 5% cashback (full 5% back at Whole Foods) if you spend a bunch of money on Amazon (and/or Whole Foods)
CapOne has a Wal-Mart card with 5% from Wal-Mart
CapOne has a Quicksilver, 1.5% cash back (everywhere)
I have the Amazon and Quicksilver and am considering the Wal-Mart card. I do not carry any balances and any finance charges would likely eat your cash back reward. If you only wanted to carry 1 card, figure out which one would be better for you - Amazon or Wal-Mart (because those cards have some other reward tiers, but I think 1% everywhere is the floor) that would be a good middle-ground.

Chase and AmEx are the best reward ecosystems. Chase Sapphire Preferred is a great card.
Citi and Capital One are the next best.

I use a few cards
Apple card - 1-2-3% cash back depending on how you use it.
Capital One Quicksilver - 1.5% everywhere but they always are sending me promotions for higher cash back amounts
Discover - 1.5% everywhere with rotating categories up to 5%
Capital One Walmart - 2% in store and 5% online
I don't keep any cards with an annual fee any longer. When I was running tens of thousands of business through them a month they were worth it, but since I don't do that any longer it is just not worth the fees.
I have a couple other cards sock drawered but that is my rotation.

AMX did a bait and switch on me. Capital One Spark Business is the best at 2% cash back unlimited. AMX Hilton and Marriott Cards are good if you like those 2 hotel chains. I won’t do business with Chase.

If you spend 60k plus per year on cc, Chase sapphire reserve.

Citi Double points is the best all around rewards card with no fee. 2% on everything as long as you don’t carry a balance.
There are some better specific categories if you do a ton of a specific type of business (10k in flights per quarter or purchase 2k/month on Amazon)
